Dulag Leyte–The Social Security System (SSS) Tacloban Branch and Municipality of Dulag sealed a joint commitment for the establishment of SSS E-Centers in 45 barangays which shall benefit almost 50,000 constituents.
The SSS E-Center sa Barangay aims to provide SSS members, pensioners and claimants with digital facilities and services in their respective communities to proceed with various SSS online transactions via My.SSS Portal and SSS Mobile App.
Under the signed Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) of both parties, the SSS shall conduct orientations, trainings, and hands-on tutorials to the assigned Barangay personnel who will man and supervise the operations of the E-centers. They shall likewise provide timely and relevant feedback and updates on referrals and queries from Barangay Representatives.
On the other hand, the participating barangays are expected to create an E-Center within their areas using their own IT resources manned by trained personnel. Online services offered by the SSS E-Center are issuance of Social Security (SS) Number, My.SSS registration, Payment Reference Number (PRN) Generation for contribution and loan, Salary and Pension Loan Application, ConsoLoan Application, Disbursement Account Enrollment, Benefit Claims Application, and Member Data Change Request. LGU Dulag shall open the SSS E-Centers sa Barangay on the second week of August 2023.
